With the Mediabridge MB-1500 kit, A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth features are available!
WTH does that mean? Well, A2DP is a standard that allows audio streaming through bluetooth. This means that ANY Bluetooth phone (or tablet) with the A2DP standard will be able to stream audio through the bluetooth! Check the manufacturer of your Bluetooth phone to see if it has it.
The MB-1500 will play MP3s and control audio functions through car stereo controls on any smartphones with AVRCP 1.3
AVRCP 1.3 phones will have steering wheel control of audio if your vehicle is equipped with steering wheel controls.
Please check the specifications on your bluetooth enabled smartphone to determine if it has A2DP and AVRCP 1.3 bluetooth in its operating system.
Many Bluetooth smartphones with the latest Android, Blackberry, iPhone, or Symbian (Nokia) operating systems have AVRCP. Or there may be an application or patch file that will enable it. You may have to update your phone's operating system to the latest version to enable it.
With the MB-1500, you will also have hands free phone communication through Bluetooth.
